ACCOMMODATIONS and BOOKING
Our reunion will be held at the Doubletree Hotel and Executive Meeting Center in Berkeley.
This is a family-friendly facility on the Berkeley Marina with great outdoor areas and many amenities. It is close to the UC Berkeley campus, and convenient by car or public transportation to Oakland airport, San Francisco airport, and downtown San Francisco and Oakland. You may want to consider extending your stay in California to visit areas of interest such as Monterey Bay, the Napa or Sonoma wine countries, Yosemite, and Lake Tahoe, to name just a few.
We negotiated a very favorable room rate, based on double occupancy, of $129 per night.
Children 18 years and younger are at no additional charge when a room is occupied by a parent or guardian.
Each adult over two per room is an additional $15 per night.
Rollaway beds are an additional $15 per night.
Meals, transportation, and reunion registration fees are not included in this rate. Except for one or two group meals, which we will collect for later, you will be paying for your meals on an individual basis. We booked sixty rooms. We can probably get more rooms at the same favorable rate if we request soon.
